AN EMPOWERING LEADER, EDUCATOR, AND FATHER
Cory Henwood is the Innovation Coordinator at Iron County School District in Utah. He is also the founder of Launch High School, a personalized-competency based school focused on design thinking and building essential skills in students. Cory has been a rigorous Math Teacher, Department Chair, Principal, Math and Tech Coach, Varsity Athletics Coach, and Curriculum Designer in public school districts in Canada and the USA. He loves to work with other educators and administrators looking to innovate and redesign education systems. |

He is married to sweetheart Brooke and has three little girls Skylee, Sophee, and Sydnee as well as one boy, Dawson. He moved from Canada, where he grew up, to California, and now enjoys life in scenic and sunny St George, Utah. He is passionate about being part of the movement to help increase student empowerment and build transferable skills essential for students' future success. He attended University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada and received two degrees, one in Mathematics and the second in Education. He enjoys playing hockey, golf, and being at the playground with his kids. |
